How this measure works

What it measures

Bitcoin miner revenue is what miners earn in a day: newly issued coins (the block subsidy) plus transaction fees, shown in US dollars. The cards split it into BTC from new coins and from fees.

Formula

Miner revenue = new coins from the block subsidy + transaction fees paid to miners in one UTC day, in US dollars

How to read it

Revenue rises with the Bitcoin price and with fee demand. The subsidy part halves at each halving. A rising fee share means users pay more to get into blocks. Over the last year the low was $22.73M on Jun 3, 2026 and the high was $50.27M on Nov 11, 2025.

Long ranges (5Y, 10Y and All) show a 7-day average to reduce daily noise. YTD and 1Y, the cards and the summary above use daily values. The tooltip shows both.

To keep everyday moves readable, the chart axis leaves out the most extreme 2% of readings in the selected range. Those days are marked with triangles at the chart edge, and the tooltip shows their value.

Limitations

Daily values are differences of cumulative totals and can change if earlier days are revised. Dollar values use the daily price; they are not profit after costs. Read it together with other charts.
